Sakura sat on the wooden chair legs crossed, hands folded on her lap as Gaara stood behind her. The principal in front of them was calm as well, his eyes were closed. Sakura waited for him to snap. She tilted her head, and Sarutobi opened his eyes, his eyebrow twitched. He muttered something, which Gaara and Sakura could hear. "Where in the hell are they?"
The door opened slowly and Itachi walked inside. "Good afternoon Sarutobi-sensei." He bowed and took the seat next to Sakura.
"What happened?" Sarutobi asked, not bothering to greet, or ask where Hidan was.
"I'm sorry Sarutobi-sensei. But I do not see the problem that occurred." Sakura said calmly. "I am deeply sorry about what happened in the lunch room but there does not seem to be much more of a problem here." She tilted her head. "I-"
"Bull." Itachi interrupted. "Deidara-san nearly killed Hidan."
"That would not have happened if he had not thrown the fork at me."
"It was a knife." Itachi muttered. Sarutobi shook his head, his mind not understanding why he would admit that. "It was plastic, so it wouldn't do much harm." As if to answer the question in his head. Yet bringing so much more.
"Maybe, or perhaps it could've given her a cut." Gaara hissed, knowing full well that she would've been fine, even if it could even cut her.
"Okay okay. Calm down." Sarutobi muttered. "I'm giving you a warning, seeing that nothing bad happened. But next time something happens. You're having restricted weekends, since you two probably won't care much about detentions."
"Thank you sensei." Sakura smiled and bowed. Gaara nodded his head and followed her out. "Lucky I didn't have to do much. The Uchiha is a bit too observant for my liking." She muttered.
"Well, at least it went by smoothly. Next time, it won't be so nice." Gaara chucked.
"No, it'll be fine." Sakura smiled. "Let's go see what Deidara's up to shall we?" She nudged her head towards the smoke coming from the science building.
"How do you know that it's him?" Itachi suddenly came from behind them.
"It's Deidara, nothing else to say." Gaara answered for Sakura. "He'll blow up anything."
"Itachi-sama!!!" A blond girl ran up to the said Uchiha. "Ew, what's this?" She snorted at Sakura.
"I'm a human. I should be asking what you are." Sakura smirked. "But I'm not rude, so I won't ask." The girl scoffed and decided to ignore her.
"Itachi-sama! All these girls are talking about you! And some of them are selling pictures they found of you!" She whined. Itachi's eyes slid to Sakura who waved and walked away, Gaara, as always, right behind her.
"That was very unlike you." Gaara muttered.
"Same to you. You didn't tense or anything." She giggled. "Normally you'd be all over them, getting at their throat."
"You make me sound like a monster." He rose an eyebrow. She gave him a dead stare. He sighed, shrugging his shoulders. "I guess it's true though. She wasn't much of a threat. All talk."
"No walk." Sakura sighed as she heard an explosion. "Oh Deidara." She shook her head.
AaAa
"You idiot! I said don't do that!" Konan hissed while hitting the back of Deidara's head who was laughing, or rather chuckling under his breathe as the two tried to be as quiet as possible. The other occupants of the room coughed. "Let's go before they figure out who it was." She grabbed him by the neck and they disappeared into the dust.
"Who's there?!" One of the teachers coughed. "Anyone?!" The dust cleared and no one was there.
"One of your students from the earlier class must've forgotten to put a way a couple of compounds." The janitor muttered.
"I didn't have a class today. No one did. Not in this room." The teacher stared around in disbelief. "Something's going on here."
"I'll go get the broom." The janitor shook his head and left. The teacher followed him out. Konan and Deidara appeared.
"You idiot!" She hissed. "We have to get out of here without being noticed."
"Like we have a problem with that." Deidara scoffed.
"You're so loud! That's why it's a problem." Konan shook her head. "The doors are locked anyway." They looked out the window. "No way."
"Don't be scared. With your invisibility, we won't be caught."
"How?"
"We jump."
"We're on the second floor!" Konan flailed her arms. "Someone will notice the sudden vibrations of the ground. Plus there's the loud thump that happens when we land you moron."
"Not like it matters humans are very unobservant...besides there's a tree, with the right amount of powe-"
"Okay okay! Just hurry up, the janitor's coming back." They opened the window, Konan grabbed his arm and they disappeared into thin air as they jumped onto the tree. It shook drawing some attention, but the onlookers shrugged it off and walked away thinking it was just a squirrel or something of the sort. Except for Gaara and Sakura who were waiting under the tree.
"Took you a while." Gaara muttered.
"Konan was panicking." Deidara jumped off the branch and landed in a crouch. "The teacher and the janitor almost caught us. So she started hyperventalating." He smirked. "It was actually really funn-"
"Haha, I'm laughing so hard it hurts." Konan muttered sarcastically, landing next to him. "It wasn't cool. If we got caught that's already a weeks worth of nothingness. Besides you did that for no reason."
"You set it up?" Sakura rose an eyebrow. "Or were you too busy messing around."
"Calm down. That was the first thing we did." Deidara shook his head. "I still don't see why she had to come."
"Because if someone did notice before you were out of there than Konan would've kept us safe. More specifically you." Gaara muttered. "And knowing you, it was bound to happen." Deidara growled but didn't answer back his narrowed eyes fixed on a figure.
"We haven't paid much attention to the younger one." He cocked his head to the side. "I'm quite curious on how he reacted to the incident." Sakura rolled her eyes.
"If you're so curious, ask him." She muttered, knowing that he could hear her fully.
"Good idea." He smirked. "OI!!! UCHIHA!!" Deidara waved hysterically at the raven haired boy.
"I was being sarcastic." Sakura shook her head but didn't stop him anyway. The boy eventually reached them.
"What do you want?"
"Are you close to your brother?" Deidara asked him. Sasuke stared at him, not blinking. Obviously unamused too.
"Why would it matter?"
"We really want to bother Itachi," Konan smirked, "So we were kinda wondering if killing you, his otouto, would make him furious at us...cause it seems pretty interesting." Sasuke twitched at her explanation, but otherwise showed no response. "So...may we kill you?"
"Are you capable of that?" He shot back. Konan's eyes narrowed.
"Of course, you're a little squirt, it wouldn't be too hard." Deidara laughed. "And I'm sure Gaara can easily take you on. Right?" He elbowed the red head who shrugged. "Oh wait. Sakura could take you on! But of course that would mean that Gaara would become protective and fight for her...but still." Deidara pondered while Gaara scowled at the half insult.
Sasuke was still not responding. "Scared?" Sakura taunted.
"Why should I?" He snapped. "You guys aren't scary at all."
"Ooo! What about Kisame!" Deidara laughed. "He's scary." He snickered.
"What's going on here?" Sakura looked at the older brother.
She tilted her head slightly. "Nothing. We were just threatening the little Uchiha here." She nudged her head at Sasuke. "But he feels like he can take us on. What about you?" Itachi disregarded her.
"Sasuke, Sarutobi wants to speak with you." He told his brother before walking away.
"How rude." Sakura shook her head in disappointment. "I thought the Uchihas would be a bit more polite." She said a little bit too loudly. Itachi merely stopped for a second and looked at her, before walking away. Sasuke rubbed the back of his head while shaking his head, leaving himself.
"Good bye." He added, not wanting to be compared to his brother. Especially by that bitch of a girl that sees everything. Deidara chuckled.
"Humans are very amusing." Sakura said as she and the rest headed of to the student lounge she giggled lightly.
"Hm." Gaara laughed a little with her. "Why don't we freak them out a little bit?"
"How?" Deidara caught up with them. "I could read their mind, then pretend nothing happen." Sakura tapped her chin lightly.
"Let's try Kisame." She said. Soon enough, he was there.
"Ugh, what do you want?" He muttered, "I was having fun tormentin-"
"We want to freak the Uchihas out."
Kisame tilted his head. "Couldn't you use Konan?" He looked around. "I swear I heard her here."
"You're a bit more...interesting to them." Sakura said. "Besides, I really want to see them scared the shit out of them. Particularly Sasuke, he's a bit more less predicting than Itachi sometimes. He does surprise me a bit." The other three stopped walking. She stopped and turned around a second later and tilted her head. "What?"
"He surprises you?" Deidara rose an eyebrow. "If I remember correctly, and I usually do, you are never surprised." He looked at Gaara. "And judging how he stopped as well...I'm right."
"What? He's interests me." Sakura shrugged. Kisame then smirked.
"Sakura likes someone!" He laughed. She was unmoved. Deidara snickered.
AaAa
Gaara watched Sakura as she paced in her room. "What the hell am I supposed to do?!" Hinata sat next to Gaara and her eyes followed her as well. "Seriously!" Gaara sighed.
"Maybe you're finally reaching puberty." He said and leaned back against the wall. Sakura glared at him. "I'm just saying you know? Besides, it won't be long before the whole school knows seeing that Deidara shouted that out randomly." He shrugged.
"He hates fangirls." Hinata suggested. "Maybe you ca-"
"I'm not going to act like a...a whore." Sakura shook her head. "No, never." Hinata shrugged. "I swear, never will I act like a whore." Gaara looked up at the ceiling.
"Kisame got to them." He said after a moment of silence.
"Well what are we waiting for then?" Sakura jumped up from the bed. "You want to come Hinata?" The timid girl gave a small feral smile.
"I can hear fine from here." Sakura laughed and nodded before leaving with Gaara towards Kisame's location. When they got there, Sakura couldn't help but sigh at the huge crowd.
"Kisame." She said loud enough for everyone to hear. The murmurs died down and she walked towards the opening in the center. She tilted her head, and smiled very sweetly. Too sweet. "Maybe you should try not drawing so much attention to yourself." The blue man blinked before grinning.
"But I think it would be better for the Uchiha if there were witnesses don't you think?"
"I'm not here to play games Kisame." She said evenly. "I'm here to make sure nothing unspeakable happens." She turned to the crowd. "What are you looking at?" They all froze and immediately started rushing somewhere. A hand fell on her shoulder and gripped it tightly.
"Calm down Sakura." Kakashi muttered in her ear. "Your temper has not improved one bit."
"He's not doing what I told him to do." She hissed.
"Then demand it." He patted her head. "I trust that everything is in hand." He spoke louder so the Uchiha brothers could hear him. "President." He added quickly. Sasuke dead stare turned into a glare.
"Everything is fine Kakashi-sensei." He said slowly. "I trust you can keep control of your...children." He rose an eyebrow. Kakashi laughed a bit nervously.
"I think you're giving him way too much credit." Gaara said stepping in front of Sakura.
"Now, now Gaara. Calm down." Kakashi patted the man's shoulder. He turned around. "Go back to your dorms." He ordered the onlookers who did as he was told quickly. "Sasuke, Itachi, Kisame, and Gaara, you too. I need to talk to Sakura." Kisame sighed and followed Gaara to the boys' dorm. Sasuke scowled and did as told. Itachi merely waited a little. "Itachi Uchiha." Kakashi barked. "To your room." The Uchiha's eyes narrowed before doing as told.
Sakura let her shoulder sag a little. "You want to talk?"
Taking in a deep breathe, Kakashi started, "Sakura. You know that you're like that little sister that I never had." She nodded slowly. "But even though I'm on the school staff. There's only so much I can do to keep you guys out of trouble." Sakura rose an eyebrow. "Let me take you back to your room." He sighed. "Just try to keep them in order. Deidara and Konan already almost been caught twice. Kisame is just bound to get at least five Saturday detentions. Gaara is bound to do something to defend you. Neji and Hinata will be pulled into some mess. And you're their head. You need to control them a bit better unless your title will taken away."
"What about you Kakashi?" She asked. "I'm assuming that you'll eventually get in trouble with the council for protecting us so much?" Kakashi sighed as they stopped in front of her door. He put a hand on her shoulder.
"You have a dead line. Just try to get detentions after that dead line." He muttered. "And I'll try to push the detentions you have now to the ones with Itachi."
"And Sasuke?"
"Doesn't get any. He's the Student Council President. What do you expect?" His eye crinkled in his smile. Sakura sighed. "Good night Sakura." She waved and walked into the room.
"Hinata. Please tell me you have a plan for me."
AaAa
"Sakura!" The girl looked up from her book finally and stared into the cerulean blue eyes. "I heard that fishy man got into a fight with teme and his brother." She blinked before remember that he thought Kisame was a fish mutant or something like that.
"You mean Kisame, Naruto? Yes. But I had to stop him because of the amount of people there." Just then Sasuke sat down.
"Thanks for your concern, but we don't need protection from a bunch of newbies." Sakura felt her eye narrow dangerously.
"I wasn't concerned for you."
"Of course. You feel concerned for your brother." He hissed. Naruto held his breathe and looked from one to the other. Then he let his gaze go to Gaara who was reading a book, whom simply ignored the whole scene.
Sakura laughed. "I have no need to be concern for him. I'm a bit concerned for our classmates. I don't want them to get hurt. I'm sure you wouldn't want that either. A fight you were involved in caused the harm of our classmates. I'm sure that could cause someone on the staff to remove your title of President." Sasuke narrowed his eyes.
"Who ever said I cared for that title?"
"Your eyes do." Gaara muttered not looking up. "As does your rigid posture." He finally looked up. "You're one hell of a liar Uchiha. I don't think that you deser-"
"Shut it Gaara." Sakura hissed. Gaara gave out a small chuckle, before sealing his lips and going back to his book. "What is it Deidara?" The blonde behind her groaned and cursed loudly. Sasuke looked up in surprise, not hearing him. Naruto practically fell out of his chair. The Uchiha let his eyes narrow. How did Sakura know he was there with her back turned to him, and he or Naruto didn't when they were facing him?
"I thought for sure I had you!" Deidara hissed. "I would love to finally get back at you after that one time." Sakura laughed.
"Where are the others?"
Deidara closed his eyes for a moment. "Konan's with Sasori playing shougi. Kisame's taking a small walk. Hinata is studying in the room with Sasori and Konan, waiting for her turn to play. And Kakashi is teaching."
"Neji?" Sakura wrote some things down as she listened to the blond.
"He's studying with someone." He closed his eyes again. Eyebrows furrowed, he tapped his chin. "Dammit," He muttered a curse, so he wouldn't gain attention from the librarian who was already ready to hand him a detention. "He knows that I'm trying to figure out her name."
"Her name?" Sakura looked up from her paper. Deidara backed up a little.
"Calm down." He put his hands up and smiled reassuringly. "I'm sure it's nothing." He laughed nervously. "It's probably just some classmate that needs his help. I mean Neji's a genuis. He knows things that I've never even heard of." Sakura got up stunningly fast and gave him a stare. "In the center of the park." He said nervously. She stalked of out of the study hall. Gaara got up to followed her and patted Deidara's shoulder.
"You're screwed."
Deidara sighed. "I know, I know." And the red head was gone. The blond groaned and covered his face with his hand. He parted his fingers and looked at the two boys staring in confusion. "What are you looking at?" He growled.
"Apparently a member of a very screwed up family." Naruto said. Deidara felt his eyebrow twitch. He picked up Gaara and Sakura's book and threw it at them. Good thing the librarian had just left the room.
AaAa
"Neji." Sakura said, stopping in front of the chocolate haired boy who looked up from his book. No one was around. "Who?"
"It's none of your concern Sakura." Neji said evenly, knowing exactly what she was talking about and how she knew. There was no point in argueing with her. "It won't affect anything." Sakura leaned in dangerously. Glaring.
"And what if it does, Neji?" His eyes wandered a little before staring back at her. "Hmm? Tell me, Neji. Other wise, when I found out what happens. I will make sure that something unpleasant will happen."
Neji narrowed his eyes. "You have no authority over me. You aren't the head of my household." He hissed. "And Tsunade-sama is not the head of the department that owns my household."
"Just tell me who, and why." She hissed threateningly. Neji narrowed his eyes, but complied.
"A girl named Matsuri. She needed help with the homework we got yesterday. I have chemistry with her. Nothing more, nothing less." Sakura straightened her back. Her facial expression seemed satisfied, though it did not reach her eyes just as well.
"Sakura, let it go." Gaara tried to calm her. "It's Neji. Sakura, he may not be under your demands, but he wouldn't do anything stupid." Sakura huffed and stalked off. "Sorry about that Neji." He held out a hand to pull the brunette up.
"She's seems a bit more aggravated then normal." Neji smoothed his pants and shirt.
Gaara sighed. "I've noticed."
AaAa
"Sakura." The girl sat up straight hearing the familiar voice. She cocked her head to the side, her black hair falling in her face making her scrunch her nose in distaste. The form chuckled. "I have some people you may want to meet." The red head held out his hand. Sakura put her smaller one in his and followed him to the main hall. She gazed around and waved at some familiar faces. She looked forward and stared at the two teenagers. "Sakura, I'd like you to meet Sasori and Deidara."
"She's cute." The blond one grinned.
Sakura blinked. "I do not think it is in best interest that you say anything about her appearance, Deidara-san." Gaara said.
"What are you? Her bodyguard?" The blond scowled. He then blinked. "Are you?" Sakura put her hand over her mouth, hiding a small giggle when the red head, Sasori, hit Deidara's on the back of the head. "Why'd you do that Sasori!?"
"Because you're an idiot." Deidara frowned. Gaara sighed.
"The reason why I brought Sakura, was to help show your rooms." Sakura gave him a weird look, but decided to brush it off. "To save time, I want Sakura to show Sasori to his." She sighed and stepped forward.
"It was a pleasant meeting, Deidara-san. Sasori-san." She nodded her head and headed towards his room.
"She seems very...old-fashioned." Deidara whispered to Gaara who sagged his shoulders and sighed.
"Sakura-san." The black haired girl twirled her head to look at the man behind her. She stopped for a few seconds so he would be next to her, and continued to walk. "Is the acuteness of hearing...normal?"
Sakura nodded. "Being an undead angel has it's perks. That's the ballroom." She pointed at the fancy, victorian styled door.
"Ballroom? You have such old term for it? Or is it really a ballroom?" The slightly taller man rose his eyebrow. Hazel eyes assessed her.
"The latter." Sakura said. "The dining hall is down there." She pointed. "And this is your room." She stopped. "Perhaps you'll be happy not to be near Deidara-san when you sleep, yes?" Her eyes sparkled with knowledge. Sasori's eye brows furrowed.
"How did you know which room I'm in?"
"As I said, being an undead angel has its perks." She smirked. "Some of us, have even higher perks. For example, I can see into the past of any person that I see. Well, I have to know their name, and see them. Quite annoying at times though." She frowned a little. "You can settle down. That window leads to the 'outside', that other one will let you see into the human world. Where, and of whomever. Doesn't matter to me. Though I'd probably find out eventually." She smirked. But quickly composed her face.
"Well, thank you for the tour, Sakura-san." He bowed. "May I know where I could find Deidara's room?"
"Two halls down. Second door on the left." Sakura smiled and left him. "Pleasure to meet you Sasori-san."
